About the Artist
Meg Kelso (b. PNG 1992) is an Australian artist based in Melbourne, working on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people. Using her practice as a reciprocal relationship between material storytelling and contemplation, Kelso encorperates processes such as painting, printmaking, ceramics and video - allowing each discipline to sit, extend and communicate with one another.
By negotiating material forms and embracing chance in an intuitive practice, Kelso explores themes of liminality, loss and the peripheral; using her practice to weave threads between the visible and not.
